Begin the workout by lying flat on your stomach on The Total Gym glide board. Tiffany says to make sure your shoulder blades are rolled down and back with your abs in tight. Keep your neck in a neutral position that is comfortable to you. The first workout is called a “lat pull.” Do this by pulling yourself up and down the board with the cables – the motion is similar to that of a pull up.

From this position, bring your elbows close to the body and squeeze down the same way as before. You’re going to feel this motion work your back, biceps, lats and triceps.

Next, Tiffany moves into a “tricep kickback.” You can flip your palms up or down and from here simply extend your arms straight back at the elbows. This exercise will isolate the triceps giving them a great burn.

Finally, end the workout by extending your arms out and keeping your wrists in a neutral position. From there, lift and lower your arms up and down working your back, lats, shoulders and triceps.

Tiffany says that this is a perfect exercise for both men and women. This is a great workout for swimmers and surfers who are need to paddle through the water where arm strength is crucial. For women, this is going to be a great way to look your best in your favorite sleeveless dress.

  1. Looks like a great workout, but burning arm fat? Shouldn’t it be how to tone or strengthen your arms? I’ve always been told you can’t reduce fat in targeted areas, it comes off your whole body proportionately. Was I told wrong?
